Bibliothèque is the most popular scented candle by Byredo, niche perfume brand from Sweden. After a huge number of requests, Byredo has finally launched Bibliothèque in the format of fragrance. Today I review Bibliothèque Eau de Parfum Byredo.

The popularity of this scented candle is more than obvious. Bibliothèque scented candle has a very beautiful and pleasant scent with a light sweetness. This candle creates a very special and magical atmosphere filling the room with its fascinating aroma.

The same can be said of Bibliothèque in the format of fragrance. This perfume has a very deep, enveloping and tempting aroma.

Perfume Review of Bibliothèque Eau de Parfum Byredo

This perfume opens with the delightful fruity scent on the light leathery background. The note of peach gives this fragrance its beautiful and sweet scent, while the note of plum makes the opening of Bibliothèque perfume deeper and more tantalizing.

After a while, the bright fruity scent calms down and a tender floral heart appears. The note of peony gives this perfume its refined and gentle floral scent with beautiful fruity accents, while the note of violet makes Bibliothèque powdery and soft.

The base of this alluring perfume is represented by the romantic trio of patchouli, leather, and vanilla. The note of patchouli gives Bibliothèque the deep earthy scent with woody accents, while leather makes this perfume more expressive and strong.

Vanilla adds to this composition its seductive and warm sweet scent and makes Bibliothèque perfume very passionate.

Bibliothèque Eau de Parfum Byredo is the beautiful and tempting soft-oriental fragrance with some velvety nuances. It has very expressive and saturated scent, that after a while becomes softer and more enveloping. The sweetness of this perfume is not sugary but very pleasant and seductive.

Description and name of this perfume speak about the scent of old books, their leather-bound pages, and the wood shelves. In my head, I have completely opposite associations, but it doesn’t make this perfume less attractive.

For me, it is the scent of the bustling streets, celebration, carnival or a colorful oriental bazaar.

Notes: Peach, Plum, Peony, Violet, Leather, Patchouli, Vanilla.

If it were a place, it would be a vibrant city street in the evening.

If it were a color, it would be violet.

If it were one word, it would be a pleasure.

P.S. Now you can also purchase a limited collection of Hair Perfume Bibliothèque and Hand cream Bibliothèque by Byredo.
