Today I’ll review Summer 1928 Kamila Aubre, a sophisticated and inspiring floral perfume with a gentle touch of summertime melancholy.

Perfume Review of Summer 1928 Kamila Aubre

This perfume is an ode to the last days of summer when heated by the sun flowers and plants exude their heady and saturated aroma diluted by the slight coldness of the late August nights.

In Summer 1928, this transition between seasons was perfectly reflected by the warm mixture of flowers and spices with the refreshing accents of lavender.

From the first seconds, this charming botanical blend soaked in green cognac opens with some medicinal nuances that remind a herbal cough syrup, or rather medicine for our melancholy.

The bittersweet melancholy of passing summer.

Review of Summer 1928 Kamila Aubre

This fragrance, filled with pleasant sadness, is like an understanding that something wonderful is coming to an end.

And in our case, this «something» is the summer full of unforgettable moments and emotions that you will reminisce even after many years.

Of course, there will be another summer and then another…

But there will never be the same summer as this.

And all we have to do is drink the dandelion wine and contemplate how the sun goes down, taking with it everything that happened to us this summer.

Everything that will be our secret.

Just yours and mine.

Notes: Magnolia Leaf, Ginger, Bergamot, Tagetes, Mimosa, Lavender, Green Cognac.

If it were a place, it would be a terrace of the summer house.

If it were a color, it would be dark amber.

If it were one word, it would be reminiscence.
