Zoologist is a niche perfume brand from Canada founded by Victor Wong and inspired by animals and their life. I have already told you about Moth by Zoologist, mysterious, dark and impressive perfume.
Today, I review Hummingbird Zoologist, lucid and joyful scent, created by perfumer Shelley Waddington and inspired by the smallest and one of the most beautiful birds in the world.
Hummingbird is a wonderful creature, that amazes with its size, charm, and beauty.
Despite the fact that hummingbird is the smallest bird in the world, it is very fast, elusive and fearless. This bird has only one weakness – tantalizing and entrancing nectar from beautiful fragrant blooms.
This nectar is the main goal of the hummingbird, its destination and its dream, for which it will do anything.
Perfume Review of Hummingbird Zoologist
Hummingbird perfume by Zoologist begins with the bright citrus notes and a little sweet-sour scent of apples. After a while, a tender aroma of lily of the valley, surrounded by juicy and sweet fruits appears.
Violet leaf gives this perfume its refreshing grassy scent. As all Zoologist perfumes, Hummingbird is incredibly rich with fragrance notes.
The heart of this scent is represented by the colorful and beautiful floral bouquet. The notes of honeysuckle, lilac, mimosa, tulip, and ylang-ylang transfer us to the enchanting and warm territories, full of the sound of Hummingbird’s wings.
Honey brings to this perfume its pleasant sweetness and makes Hummingbird very enjoyable and playful.
A deep woody accord with the notes of moss, white woods and sandalwood epitomizes the nest of the tiny bird. In turn, the notes of cream, coumarin, amber, and musks create an atmosphere of safety and coziness for Hummingbird.
