The rose was one of the most popular components of perfumery at all times. It was widely used since ancient times.

For example, in ancient Rome, it was the most favorite flower. The people of Rome created the feast of Rosalia to honor the rose. They also adorned themselves and their houses with these flowers.

Now we can find so many perfumes with the main theme of rose. Today I’ll review  Lady Vengeance Juliette has a Gun, a beautiful and confident fragrance, dedicated to this marvelous flower.

Perfume Review of Lady Vengeance Juliette has a Gun

Launched in 2006 and created by the perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, Lady Vengeance is one more story about the Queen of the flowers.

This queen is refined and deep. She also has thorns but not very sharp. The queen is contemplative, wise and knows what she wants from the life. She is not naive and she will not let somebody hurt her. But if it happens and somebody hurts her, the tenderness will be replaced by the coldness and indifference, and the vengeance will be forthcoming…

John William Waterhouse, The Rose Bower, 1910

Lady Vengeance opens with the bright and refreshing duo of bergamot and lavender notes. After a while, a beautiful and tender floral heart appears featuring the notes of Bulgarian rose, Moroccan rose and geranium.

Patchouli, the faithful friend of rose, gives this perfume its deep earthy scent with woody nuances, while the note of Iso E Super brings to this fragrance its vibrant sound.

The base of Lady Vengeance is represented by the sensual trio of ambroxan, musk and vanilla. Ambroxan gives this perfume its multifaceted aroma with musky, woody and ambery accents, while the note of musk makes this fragrance very tempting.

Vanilla adds to this composition an almost invisible sweetness and makes Lady Vengeance warm and soft.

Lady Vengeance is very interesting and beautiful floral fragrance with the main theme of rose. This perfume is sensual, but not ardent. It has a little coldness and detachment, and maybe it is the vengeance of the queen…

Notes: Lavender, Bergamot, Bulgarian Rose, Moroccan Rose, Geranium, Patchouli, Iso E Super, Ambroxan, Musk, and Vanilla.

If it were a place, it would be an old beautiful garden with roses.

If it were a color, it would be vivid burgundy.

If it were one word, it would be sublime.
