Eau de Couvent is a French perfume brand, created by the artist and former muse of couturier Azzedine Alaïa, Candida Romero. In my previous posts, I have already told you the story of this unique brand and its mission, which is to restore the long-abandoned Convent San Francescu in Corsica.

Today I review Rosa La Rose Eau de Couvent, a new fascinating fragrance, dedicated to one of the most beautiful flowers in the world.

Perfume Review of Rosa La Rose Eau de Couvent

Rosa La Rose opens with a bright and delightful scent of pink berries and blackcurrant. The note of pink berries gives this perfume its playful and light sour-sweet scent, while the note of blackcurrant gives Rosa La Rose its rich and saturated aroma with tantalizing grassy and woody nuances.

After a while, the bright opening of Rosa La Rose calms down and an exquisite heart with a rose as the protagonist appears. The note of Moroccan rose gives this fragrance the beautiful and gentle scent with a little sweet and powdery accents.

Cardamom gives this perfume its unique and refreshing scent, while the note of Jamaican pepper bay makes the tender sound of the rose more expressive and spicy.

The note of sandalwood gives Rosa La Rose its creamy, a little balsamic aroma and makes this fragrance deep and alluring.

The base of Rosa La Rose is represented by the mysterious and sensual trio of patchouli, musk and ambergris notes.

Patchouli gives this perfume its deep and multifaceted earthy scent with musky and woody nuances, while the note of musk makes Rosa La Rose very exciting and gives its a little sweet and vibrant scent.

Ambergris adds to this composition its sophisticated animalic aroma with a little earthy and sweet accents and makes this perfume deep and enticing.

Rosa La Rose Eau de Couvent is very beautiful, sensual and refined floral-oriental perfume. This fragrance has very gentle and even velvety scent, that creates a special and charming aura around you.

At the same time, Rosa La Rose has something a little mysterious and hidden from view, that makes this perfume even more tempting.

Notes: Pink Berries, Blackcurrant, Moroccan Rose, Cardamom, Jamaican Pepper Bay, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Musk, Ambergris.

If it were a place, it would be a beautiful rose garden in Morocco.

If it were a color, it would be light burgundy.

If it were one word, it would be a sensuality.

P.S. Rosa La Rose fragrance and all other products by Eau de Couvent are now available in the concept store 10CorsoComo in New York.

The official launching of Rosa La Rose fragrance will take part on Valentine’s Day 2019 in the flagship store of Eau de Couvent / San Francescu Gallery in Saint Germain des Pres, Paris.
